Dr. Vasundara Cheepurupalli — Senior Consultant in Hyderabad

Dr. Vasundara Cheepurupalli is a Senior Consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology at KIMS Hospitals, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, with more than 15 years of experience.

Her clinical range covers abnormal uterine bleeding, adenomyosis, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain, together with menopause management. She performs hysterectomy and laparoscopic hysterectomy, myomectomy and laparoscopic myomectomy, ovarian cyst surgery and oophorectomy, endometriosis surgery, and surgery for pelvic organ prolapse.

Her qualifications are unusually numerous, and each names a different operating route. She holds an MBBS, an MS, a DNB and a DGO, and is a Fellow in Minimal Access Surgery through AMASI in Mumbai, recorded as FMAS. She is a Fellow in Vaginal Surgery, trained at Indore, and a Fellow in Robotic Surgery, boarded by Da Vinci Intuitive in the United States, with further advanced robotic training in Texas. A fellowship in cosmetic gynaecology in Mumbai and a fellowship in obstetric ultrasound in Hyderabad complete the set.

Menopause is a formal part of her practice rather than an incidental one. She holds the CIMP, certification in menopause practice, and is a Certified Menopause Practitioner of the IMS. She also holds Good Clinical Practice certification.

Before KIMS she worked at Mahavir Hospital and Research Centre in Hyderabad between 2017 and 2018, and at a Community Health Centre in Vizag between 2014 and 2015.
