Dr. Swaramya Chandrasekaran — Senior Consultant in Chennai

Dr. Swaramya Chandrasekaran is a Senior Consultant at Dr. Rela Institute and Medical Centre, Chennai, in its Women and Children's Hospital, with more than 15 years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology and women's health.

Her clinical work covers uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, abnormal uterine bleeding and endometriosis. She performs hysterectomy and laparoscopic hysterectomy, myomectomy and laparoscopic myomectomy, ovarian cyst surgery and oophorectomy, endometriosis surgery, and hysteroscopic polypectomy with uterine polyp removal.

She qualified MBBS from JSS Medical College under Rajiv Gandhi University in Mysore between 2005 and 2011, and took her MS in obstetrics and gynaecology at JIPMER, Pondicherry, between 2012 and 2015. A retrospective analysis of tubal ectopic pregnancy in a rural tertiary care hospital in India, and case reports on uterine myxoid leiomyosarcoma and on severe congestive dysmenorrhea in an adolescent, complete the list.
