Dr. Neeraj Gupta — Senior Consultant in Delhi NCR

Dr. Neeraj Gupta is Senior Consultant in Spine Services at the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre in Delhi NCR, with more than 12 years of experience in spine surgery.

His list covers the whole column. He performs spinal fusion surgery, cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine surgery, disc replacement surgery, spinal deformity correction, microdiscectomy, laminectomy and discectomy, spinal trauma surgery and spinal tumor surgery, and vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty.

His qualifications run from MBBS and a D.ORTHO through a DNB in orthopaedics to the FNB in spine surgery, with the MRCS parts I and II taken in the United Kingdom and a DTB from the National University Hospital in Singapore. Two further fellowships were taken abroad: an IASA spine fellowship at Michigan University Hospital in the USA, and a fellowship at St. Mary's Hospital in Seoul.

His published and presented work runs from general orthopaedics towards the spine. He presented a paper on surgical treatment of tumors of the spine at the National Surgical Update of the International College of Surgeons in 2004, and a case report on isolated tuberculosis of talus at the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association meet in Khajuraho. He took second prize in instructional course lectures at ICS 2014 in Udaipur, published a series of 119 cases of intraspinal anomalies in congenital scoliosis in the Asian Spine Journal, and co-authored a CME on radiographic evaluation of the lumbar spine for the Tamil Nadu Orthopaedic Association Journal.

He was organising secretary of Spine Update 2015, a national conference in Delhi NCR on minimal invasive spine surgery and spine deformity, and has worked at Ganga Hospital and at hospitals across Delhi NCR.
