Dr. Ameet Mandot — Director & Clinical Lead in Mumbai

Dr. Ameet Mandot is Director and Clinical Lead for Adult Hepatology and Liver Transplant at Gleneagles Hospital in Mumbai, with more than 24 years of experience. His profile records gastroenterology and hepatobiliary medicine together with surgical gastroenterology for liver transplant.

His practice is built on the liver. He manages liver cirrhosis, chronic liver disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, chronic hepatitis B and C, autoimmune liver diseases, portal hypertension and refractory ascites, and also treats celiac disease and performs ERCP.

He holds an MBBS and an MD, and took the DNB in gastroenterology as a national gold medalist for 2007 to 2008. His fellowship in hepatology and liver transplantation was taken at Hospital Beaujon in Clichy, Paris.

Most of his career has been spent inside the liver transplant programs of Mumbai.
